The JHD Girls Learn to Play program is a six-week introductory hockey experience designed exclusively for girls who are new to the game. Through six on-ice sessions and a Welcome to Hockey event, participants will build confidence while learning the fundamentals of skating and hockey in a fun, supportive environment.

Registration includes a complete set of Bauer hockey equipment. Participants wishing to continue will receive information on girls-only pathways through local minor hockey, the Winnipeg Jets Rec Hockey Program, and future Jets Hockey Development programming.

Families who choose not to continue playing after the program may return the complete equipment set and receive a $150 refund.

Program Outcome

Participants will gain confidence, learn the fundamentals of hockey, and leave with the skills and information needed to continue their hockey journey.
