Hockey Manitoba Welcomes Marcus Leite as Director, Marketing, Communications & Partnership Activation
Hockey Manitoba is pleased to announce that Marcus Leite has joined the organization as Director, Marketing, Communications & Partnership Activation.
In this role, Marcus will help lead Hockey Manitoba’s work across marketing, communications, digital engagement, storytelling, partnership activation, sponsorship support, and brand development as the organization continues to modernize and strengthen its connection with members, participants, volunteers, partners, and communities across the province.
Marcus brings more than 12 years of experience in digital marketing, content operations, social media, email marketing, digital campaigns, partner activation, brand management, sponsor fulfillment, and hands-on content production.
His background spans agency leadership, in-house marketing, and media production, with previous roles supporting digital marketing, brand development, paid campaigns, website projects, and audience engagement.
Throughout his career, Marcus has worked with Associations, membership-based organizations, and B2B clients to build audiences, tell stronger stories, improve digital platforms, and connect marketing strategy with measurable results. His experience includes integrated content calendars, social media growth, website redevelopment, podcast and livestream production, partner-facing communications, sponsorship activation, and performance reporting.
Marcus will work closely with Hockey Manitoba leadership and staff to support key organizational priorities, including:
- strengthening Hockey Manitoba’s digital presence
- improving marketing and communications planning
- supporting member-focused storytelling
- building stronger content systems
- supporting partnership and sponsorship activation
- improving reporting and audience engagement
- enhancing Hockey Manitoba’s brand visibility across the province
