Four Manitobans selected in 2021 NHL Draft

WINNIPEG, MB – Four (4) Manitoba-born players from the Western Hockey League including two (2) U-16 Team MB alumni, had their names called this past weekend at the 2021 NHL Draft. The 1st round was completed Friday, July 23rd with rounds 2-7 taking place Saturday July 24th.
The NHL Draft is held annually after the completion of the NHL Playoffs and brings together the thirty-two (32) teams to select the rights of the best amateur hockey players who meet the draft eligibility requirements.
