Four Manitobans selected in the 2020 NHL Draft

WINNIPEG, MB – Four (4) Manitoba-born players, all from the Western Hockey League, had their names called over the last couple of days during the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The 1st round was completed on Tuesday October 6th with Rounds 2-7 taking place on Wednesday October 7th. The NHL Entry Draft is held annually after the completion of the NHL Playoffs and brings together the thirty-one (31) NHL teams to select the rights of the best amateur hockey players who meet the draft eligibility requirements.
