To bolster the effectiveness of our organization, Hockey Manitoba agreed to undergo a full Governance Review in May 2024.  The proposed timeline for this review is targeted for completion by the Hockey Manitoba May 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Hockey Manitoba is looking for open minded, selfless, and engaged people that are interested in being part of the process to implement a new model that will best help to achieve the vision and mission of our organization.

The sport of hockey is one of our country’s greatest gifts that requires regular leadership review of the best practices, policies, and regulations that supports our organizational management structure as well as providing added value for our members.

If you are interested in being part of the solution you are encouraged to complete the Governance Review Work Group Member Expression of Interest Form with the appropriate details indicating your background, skill set, and reasons for wanting to be part of one of the Governance Work Groups. The composition of the committee is not limited to Hockey Manitoba members only, but we are looking for a cross section of people that are interested in sport and being part of a dynamic organization, whose goal is to provide necessary structure while introducing an improved and positive experience for our membership.
