Hockey Manitoba is currently looking for members who are passionate about grassroots hockey to join a Grassroots Hockey Committee for the 2024 – 2025 season. Applicants should be individuals who have been involved in grassroots level hockey (U7 and U9) as either a coach, manager, volunteer or parent.

The mandate of the Grassroots Hockey Committee will be to address some of the barriers to entry at the grassroots level as well as potential ways to continue bridging the gap between recreational hockey and minor hockey.

The Grassroots Hockey Committee will meet virtually on a monthly basis starting in December with two in-person meetings on January 18^th and May 3^rd. Applicants will be vetted by the Hockey Manitoba office and only successful applicants will be contacted.
