HOCKEY MANITOBA SEEKING DYNAMIC INDIVIDUALS FOR THE POSITIONS OF REGIONAL REGISTRARS

Hockey Manitoba is seeking dynamic individuals to become the regional registrar(s) for the following positions:

East Zone – Eastman Region, Interlake Region, Central Plains Region and Pembina Valley

West Zone – Yellowhead Region, Parkland Region, Westman South and Norman Region.

The successful candidate(s) must be a self-motivator with computer and communication skills. The candidate will be required to work from their home and be available to attend various meetings on weeknights and weekends.

Some of the duties include; data entry of members (addition/deletions of players and team officials) verification of player eligibility, processing transfer applications, over age and special roster applications, collection of membership fees, processing of tournament sanctions, attend regional and provincial meetings, communication with local associations and club teams and branch office, coordination of provincial play-off applications, administer special requests as per Hockey Manitoba policies.

The registrars report directly to the Executive Director of Hockey Manitoba.

All candidates must reside within Manitoba. A detailed job description and regional boundaries are available at the Hockey Manitoba office upon request. Appointments are for one year only.

Hockey Manitoba will cover costs of all office equipment, honorarium, and expenses (accommodations, meals and travel expenses) while on approved business.
