November 2, 2020

Based on the Friday October 30th announcement by Manitoba’s Chief Provincial Public Health Officer, all hockey programming for the Winnipeg health region has been suspended effective Monday November 2, 2020.

For the safety of all members, both hockey teams and individuals (players, officials, and team staff) residing in the Provincial Response Level: Critical (Red) are ineligible to participate in hockey programming beginning Monday November 2, 2020 and will be revisited on Sunday November 15, 2020.

In all health regions outside the Winnipeg health region, hockey programming can continue with usual capacity reduced to 25% effective Monday November 2, 2020.  Facilities are required to limit capacity in all areas including dressing rooms.  Hockey Manitoba suggests that players dress at home to comply with facility requirements and limit spectators to one per player.
