WINNIPEG, MB- Hockey Manitoba is excited to announce details for the launch of its myTeam Manitoba and 100th Anniversary Sweepstakes programs. In an effort to create an interactive piece to celebrate Hockey Manitoba’s rich history of alumni, myTeam Manitoba will give everyone the opportunity to select their all-time starting lineup. From Clarke to Sawchuk or Botterill to Toews, there’s no shortage of talent to choose from. Each lineup includes one (1) goalie, two (2) defensemen, three (3) forwards and one (1) coach. All submissions are completed online with each successful entry counting as a ballot into the 100th Anniversary Sweepstakes which includes over $25,000 in prizes!

Bill Whitehead, President of Hockey Manitoba, comments “We are very pleased to acknowledge the unbelievable hockey talent that has originated in our province spanning a century, and this program allows all Manitobans to directly be a part of our 100th Anniversary celebrations while having the chance to win some outstanding prizes.”

To enter a lineup participants simply visit www.hockeymanitoba.ca/100/myteammanitoba, point-and-click through the player & coach selection interface, and then click submit. Participants will also have easy social media sharing options to show off their myTeam Manitoba lineup selections with their network. There is no limit to the number of entries an individual can submit. Hockey Manitoba will announce the players receiving the highest volume of selections at each position during the 100th Anniversary Gala Dinner held on Saturday, May 9, 2015.

The 100th Anniversary Sweepstakes will feature an early bird grand prize being a trip for two (2) to the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championships in Toronto, ON, to be drawn on Monday, December 1, 2014. The second grand prize will be drawn on Sunday, February 15, 2015 for a group suite to a Winnipeg Jets home game. Additional major prizes will include “Head to Toe” CCM equipment like a pro, $500 vouchers at Royal Sports, weekend stay packages at Canad Inns and signed Winnipeg Jets jerseys. Weekly draws will also be held for tickets to 2014-15 Winnipeg Jets home games and Hockey Manitoba 100th Anniversary apparel.
