Ste.Anne’s Raygan Kirk named CHA Goaltender of the Week
Raygan Kirk (Ste.Anne), a sophomore goaltender for the Robert Morris University Colonials, has been named College Hockey America (CHA) Goaltender of the Week.
In two games played this season, the 19-year-old has a record of 2-0, a 1.00 goals against average and a remarkable .970 save percentage which includes a 32-save shutout on December 10 against Lindenwood. This is the first Goalie of the Week win this season for Kirk and the fourth overall of her two-year career.
Last year, Kirk was named to the USCHO All-Rookie Team after posting a 15-1-8 record, .925 save percentage and 2.05 goals against average.
The former member of the Eastman Selects U18 AAA represented Team Manitoba at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer and won gold with Team Canada at the 2019 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship in Japan, earning Tournament MVP honours.
