Taylor Friesen and Cameron Krall selected for 2021 WHL Cup

WINNIPEG, MB – Two (2) Hockey Manitoba officials, Taylor Friesen and Cameron Krall, have been chosen to represent Manitoba at the 2021 WHL Cup taking place in Red Deer, AB from October 20-24, 2021.  The WHL Cup, formerly known as the Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup, features the highest-rated players in the under-16 age category from the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Taylor Friesen, Referee, 27 years old

Steinbach’s Taylor Friesen (Eastman) is a Level 4 official who began officiating in 2018. He currently officiates games in the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League, the Manitoba Major Junior  Hockey League and the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

Cameron Krall, Linesman, 19 years old

Winnipeg’s Cameron Krall (Seven Oaks) is a Level 4 official who began officiating in 2014. He currently lines games in the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League, the Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League, and the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
