Hockey Manitoba is proud to be offering a hockey “Coach Stream” clinic in Winnipeg at the MTS Centre on Sunday, February 18th exclusively for females. The “We Are Coaches” program is a Coaching Association of Canada campaign designed to increase the number of trained women coaches in Canada in order to provide female mentors and role models for young participants.

The clinic is open to all interested female participants aged 16 years and above, regardless of whether or not they are currently Hockey Manitoba members. Upon completion individuals will receive their NCCP Coach level certification for the sport of hockey. As such, the course is not designed for females who have already obtained their Coach Stream certification.

Registration can be done online at the Hockey Manitoba website. Please follow the “Clinics – NCCP Coach Level” tab. The clinic is limited to 25 spots so participants are encouraged to register early.

The clinic will begin at 8:30 AM at the MTS Centre. Participants are asked to use the Portage and Donald entrance. The course is offered free of charge.
